The history of the martini is as intricate as any spy movie plot, but few are familiar with how the most famous drink in the world came to be. Join Mystic’s own Chef Anthony Caporale, author and star of “The Imbible” series of hit New York musicals about the history of cocktails and spirits, to learn how to make a martini that would have made 007 give up his license to kill. Then we’ll jump into classic variations like the Manhattan, and of course we’ll perfect that Espresso Martini! A selection of unique spirits will be provided by Spencer & Lynn Wine and Spirit Merchants of downtown Mystic.
